Blue

Blue can be dark.

Blue can be light.

Blue can be bold.

The centaury flower shows blue’s delicacy,

Its elegance and poise.

The aconite shows the darkness of blue,

With its meanings of misanthropy and poisoned words.

The hydrangea shows one’s gratitude, understanding, and pride and blue’s way.

Mountain bluebirds and blue jays show the freedom within the color.

The peacocks show their pride.

Blue is an oxymoron.
